Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of ERD Studio ("Service"), a web-based ERD design and database schema management tool. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of Service

ERD Studio provides a web-based Entity-Relationship Diagram (ERD) design tool including database schema design, automatic SQL DDL generation, data dictionary management, and project sharing. The Service is offered under Free, Plus, Pro, and Team plans with features as described within the Service.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must be at least 14 years of age to use the Service.
• Creating accounts using another person's information is prohibited.
• Sharing or transferring your account to others is not permitted.

4. Subscription and Payment

• Paid plans are billed monthly and automatically renew each billing period.
• Payments are processed by Paddle and are charged in USD.
• Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are governed by our separate Refund and Subscription Policy.

5. Prohibited Uses

• Using the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Reverse engineering, copying, or decompiling the Service source code
• Generating excessive load on the Service through automated means
• Unauthorized access to another user's account or data
• Interfering with or disrupting the normal operation of the Service

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all ERD data and content you create within the Service. All intellectual property rights in the ERD Studio platform itself, including software, design, and branding, belong to ERD Studio.

7. Termination

ERD Studio may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice if you violate these Terms or disrupt normal Service operations. You may delete your account at any time through account settings. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ERD Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including data loss or lost profits. This limitation does not apply to damages caused by ERD Studio's gross negligence or willful misconduct.

9. Changes to Terms

ERD Studio may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes at least 7 days in advance via in-service notice or email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea.
